Happy Birthday Very Hungry Caterpillar SAVE THE DATE Saturday Morning March 23,2019 10:00am-12:00pm New World Day School Presents A Saturday Morning of Art and Open House It’s the Very Hungry Caterpillar’s 50th Birthday! New World Day School id celebrating the event on the Saturday Morning of Art. The hallways will be displayed with children’s beautiful works of art! the gym is going to transform into an interactive art museum with activities for children and parents to participate in together. Let Go for Lent

We are choosing to gather in Christian fellowship in our MAC (gym) at 6:00. The Methodist Men will treat us to a pancake supper, and yes there will be bacon! If you want to join us for dinner, please sign up on Sunday in the Welcome Center or call the church office at 972-279-6145 so we prepare enough food. If you don’t care to eat with us, please join us in the MAC for fellowship and the beginning of the service. We will leave the MAC at 6:45 to process as one body to the Worship Center.This will be the beginning of the service. Once upon a time very long ago, a seed in the shape of a green portable building was planted on a large plot of land located on Northwest Dr. in South Garland, in a neighborhood called New World. From that seed grew a family of Christians aptly named New World United Methodist Church! That portable became a building and grew more and more and more. As did that family. And today we are preparing to welcome home each who have been part of our family for a reunion party and service of celebration for 50 years of ministry.
