New World Day School

New World Day School is a Christian preparatory early childhood program focusing on Fine Art, Academics, and Christian values.

Philosophy

It is the philosophy of New World UMC Day School that every child is entitled to the highest standard of quality in early childhood education. We strive to instill the excitement of learning, healthy self-esteem, and the love of Jesus Christ in each child.

Core Values

Developing the whole child socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually.

Values are achieved through:

  • Social Skill development: Manners and respect are taught through guidance and respect.
  • Academics: Curriculums are developmentally appropriate for each age group.
  • Interactive Chapel: We worship through Bible stories, songs, puppets, and prayer. Chapel is weekly. Early morning students have daily morning devotional time.

We are a team of professionals who utilize quality resources and professional development opportunities to create interactive learning environments that promote the growth of the whole child.

Parent Involvement

Day School parents are encouraged to be involved in our classroom activities, field trips, and the parent organization.

Parents have the opportunity to assist with class projects, accompany field trips, plan seasonal parties, and assist the teacher with home projects. Our Parents’ Organization offers opportunities for parent-education programs and family enrichment.
