The NW Family Ministries team is committed to creating an environment where children feel safe to explore their understanding of God and scripture. We aim to partner with parents in the spiritual and emotional development of their children. We believe in God’s grace and look to teach the future generations what it means to extend that grace to those around them.
Children’s Programming
Nursery: 9:30am-12:00pm for children from 0-4 led by Renee Horne.
Sunday School: 9:30am for children ages 5-12 led by Director of Family Ministries Mary Kathryn Skinner
Children’s Church: Children will join their families for the 1 portion of the service and then will be taken to participate in Children’s Church for the remainder of the service. Led by Mary Kathryn Skinner.
Parent's Day Out
December 17, 2023 12:30-4:30 pm (lunch & snacks will be provided) $15 per child $20 for a family with 2 children $25 for a family with 3 children Available for children ages 3-12. We ask that all children be fully independent using the potty.

Advent at New World - Advent at New World Join us at 10:45 am for a special service to kick off the Advent season. A tribute to our Blessed Confirmands - Photos After months of formation, led by Mary Kathryn Skinner, our Confirmation Class was given the opportunity to personally respond to Jesus’ call to live as disciples. This culminates with the Confirmation Service, where the Confirmands profess their faith and are confirmed into the Christian faith and the United Methodist Church.
