On January 30th, 2022, we had the great joy of celebrating 54 years of ministry and life together as a congregation. What a milestone to have come this far after many years of life-giving ministry!
That day we recognized Lynda Brandon, Dawn Kroger, and Bill Hindman for achieving the distinctive mark of being church members for 50 years. They shared what the church meant to them during all of these years. Also, Nelda Klawetter, a charter member of the church, was with us and shared stories about how everything started. The common theme we heard from all of them was that New World United Methodist Church was an inviting and welcoming church, which is why they made it home.
As we look to what is ahead, we do so by cherishing our past as we claim our future. So, let’s continue to pray and plan for many more years of life-giving ministry, and let’s make it happen!
