I want to thank you for coming out to pray for our community this past Sunday. We had 45 participants including the children who walked around the church and those who prayed in the sanctuary. We prayed for over 100 homes in our community and met some of our neighbors. What a great way to let those around us know that God cares for them and we care about them. We also had a meaningful time of fellowship at a local restaurant and shared our experiences. I hope you will continue to be in prayer for our neighbors and for our congregation. I am grateful for your openness in allowing God’s Spirit to lead us beyond the walls of our church. We are off to a great start engaging our community. I truly believe the best is yet to come!
I want to encourage you to keep praying. Pray for greater connections between our church and the community we are called to serve. Pray that God gives us insight and vision and creative ways to build relationships with the people all around us. Pray that God will give us a heart for lost and hurting people. Most of all, just keep praying! Prayer is the key that opens the door to the promises of God.
