Today I am sharing the second message on this series called “Relationslips.” What is a relationslip? Last week I spoke to this and said that a relatioslip is when we say or do something we shouldn’t have that hurts someone and breaks the relationship. Lent 2021: Making Life Better for all People.The Lenten season has started. Lent is six weeks (excluding Sundays) dedicated to prayer, fasting, and reflection to prepare for the grand celebration of Christ conquering death and his resurrection.So, when I think of Lent, I am reminded that Easter is coming. Relationslips For the next few weeks, I am sharing a series of messages designed to help us prevent and overcome the slips and breakdowns in our relationships. And let me just say upfront that today’s message may be challenging, but I am excited about it because I think this could be pivotal in some of the most important relationships we have. Live Strong “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I tell you?  This question is one that lands with a punch. It’s a hard-hitting question that leaves an impact. Jesus is implying here that people knew him, who he was, but did not reflect him in their actions—acknowledging him as Lord was not sufficient. Relaunch into the Future Last week, I talked about a reset for our lives as the ability to embrace and move into the new things that God has for us by not allowing the hurts of the past to hold us back. We can’t change the facts of the past, but we can change how we feel about them and how we allow them to affect us today.
