The Pandemic doesn’t stop ministry and mission at New World. Several ladies spent their “at home” time creating and crocheting hats for the children and staff at New World Dayschool. There were more than enough to share with other churches and local schools as well. Our doors may be temporarily closed, but our hearts and hands are still busy working in our community.

New World Day School is a Christian preparatory early childhood program focusing on Fine Art, Academics, and Christian values.  It is the philosophy of New World UMC Day School that every child is entitled to the highest standard of quality in early childhood education. We strive to instill the excitement of learning, healthy self-esteem, and the love of Jesus Christ in each child. This week, approximately 75 children entered the doors to take part in  New World DaySchool programs.  This has been a difficult year for all schools as they try to adhere to the State guidelines in order to keep these children and teachers safe and healthy. Dear New World Families and Friends, Due to the Dallas County Health and Human Services order issued July 16th, New World Day School will not begin classes until Tuesday, September 8th. The Health, Emergency Release, and General Enrollment forms were mailed out two weeks ago. If you did not receive yours, please call our office. Another packet is going out this week with our Protocols and Procedures for parents, staff, and children. If you have questions regarding the information, please call our office.

Morning of Art and Pancakes

New World UMCDay School News, News & Events

Day School students and families will enjoy a morning of pancakes and art on March 21st from 9:00am-11:00am. After a yummy Pancake Breakfast, move through art stations to create and participate in “Family Art Activities”. Then follow your teacher to the classroom to view your child’s awesome art! Fun and creativity starts here. And did we mention, PANCAKES!
