Join us on Sunday Feb 11th and Welcome our Guest Speaker Rev. Randall Lucas.

Rev. Randall Lucas is a distinguished pastor and community leader, currently serving as an Associate Pastor at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas. Randall’s journey towards pastoral leadership is marked by a unique blend of theological depth, business acumen, and a profound commitment to social justice.

Randall holds two master’s degrees in theology from the esteemed Southern Methodist University’s Perkins School of Theology, a testament to his dedication to understanding and imparting the spiritual dimensions of life. His academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Vanguard University of Southern California, showcasing his early interest in business and communication.

Before answering the call to ministry, Randall spent five years running his family’s business, where he honed his skills in strategic planning, marketing, and operational management. This hands-on experience in the business world became a foundation for his subsequent entrepreneurial venture – a small business that he successfully led for 15 years. This dual background in theology and business uniquely positions Randall to bridge the gap between the sacred and the practical.

Randall’s passion for social justice and compassion for the marginalized in society form the core of his leadership philosophy. His commitment to making a positive impact in the community is evident not only in his pastoral role but also in his active involvement in various social initiatives.

Known for his strong organizational skills and an innate ability to inspire and mobilize volunteers, Randall has proven himself as a dynamic and effective leader. His track record in volunteer recruitment reflects a deep understanding of community engagement and the power of collective action.

Randall is excited to share a word with New World UMC, where he aims to leverage his practical theological insights and business experience to preach a meaningful message to start our Lenten Journey.
