Dear New World Church Family,
Thank you so much for worshipping with us on Facebook Live this past Sunday. I am especially grateful for your comments and for the way you greeted one another online. Our connection is so important for our life together as the body of Christ. We must be creative and intentional in staying connected during this pandemic. Let me remind you that on Sunday, March 22nd, we will worship again on Facebook Live at 11:15 a.m. Please join us on New World’s Facebook page and invite your family and friends to connect with us.
Until further notice, there will be no meetings, rehearsals or services at the church. I am connecting regularly with staff and leaders via email and conference calls. We will do our best to keep you informed and will communicate through e-blasts and the church newsletter. Since some of our members do not have or utilize email, please check in regularly with those you know to keep them informed.
Please contact Michele in the church office with any pastoral care concerns. We are a praying church. We believe in the power of prayer and we must continue to pray together.
I am inviting you to participate in a weekly prayer call on Wednesdays from 7:00-7:15 a.m. and, for those who cannot do mornings, 7:00 -7:15 p.m., beginning March 25th. The number is 971.357.2836 and the PIN you will need is 62288. I will not be able to hear you on this call, but you will be able to hear me and we will join our hearts together as I pray for the needs of our church, our community and our world. Please email any prayer concerns prior to the call to [email protected]. I may not mention them all specifically, but we will cover the concerns that are shared.

Friends, these are uncertain and troubling times, but remember we are an Easter people! We believe in the power of renewal, restoration and resurrection. May God strengthen and bless us for the days ahead.
