I’ve come to understand that preparation is important. It’s important in our everyday existence. It’s important for our spiritual lives. We must prepare for what God wants to do in and through us. I think sometimes we forget that God has always been in the miracle-working business and that business is still good. We miss the miracles looking at the messiness of life, caught up in the busyness of life and overwhelmed by the problems of life. Yet, God is still doing the miraculous, changing lives, and making the impossible a reality. Sometimes we need to adjust our vision, open our eyes and see the God who lives and loves us. Sometimes we need to celebrate in the darkness. Sometimes we need to prepare for what we cannot see. Sometimes we just need to believe. I realize there are other things I could and perhaps should be talking about. I will prayerfully address other issues as I follow God’s leading. But, I’m a little busy right now. I’m getting ready for the new thing God is doing. I don’t want to miss another miracle. Get ready.
